Gandhinagar: The Meteorological Department (MD) has once again predicted the possibility of unseasonal rain in the state for next three days from today. According to the forecast rain has been predicted in other areas of the state including North Gujarat, Central Gujarat and South Gujarat. There is a possibility of spells of unseasonal rain in Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad and Banaskantha, Patan and Arvalli. The round of unseasonal rain will continue till 31st March. It may be noted that people just got relief from the continuous unseasonal rain in past few days but the possibility of rain has raised the concerns of the farmers.
The atmosphere of Gujarat will be changed. MD has predicted unseasonal rain due to western disturbance. Cyclonic air circulation has been active over southwest Rajasthan. Hence, MD has predicted rain till 31st March from today. As per forecast North, Central and South Gujarat will have rain on 30-31st March, whereas Saurashtra and Kutch, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surendranagar and Ahmedabad will also have spells of unseasonal rain
It is predicted that North Gujarat, Kutch, Banaskantha and Patan will have rain today while Dwarka, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Morbi, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Patan, Sabarkantha, Banaskantha will have spells of rain on 30th March. The intensity of rain will reduce on 31st March in North Gujarat.
It may be mentioned here that this time conditions like storm and strong winds have been seen in many areas in the state, with unseasonal rain. According to an estimate, the state has received excess unseasonal rain this year. The crops of kesar mango, wheat, chili and cotton are on the verge of being ready, such news raises the concerns of the farmers.
