Delhi: Delhi Police has registered 100 FIRs in connection with putting up objectionable posters against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to media reports, the posters read, ‘Modi hatao- desh bachao.’ Delhi Police Special Commissioner Dipendra Pathak said that objectionable posters against Prime Minister Narendra Modi were put up all over the city, against which immediate action has been taken. He said that this (objectionable) poster does not contain any information about the printing press.
Poster link associated with Aam Aadmi Party
Special CP Dipendra Pathak added that six people have been arrested so far. This poster is linked to Aam Aadmi Party. Dipendra Pathak further said that the van was stopped by the police as soon as it left the Aam Aadmi Party office, many posters were seized from it and a few people were arrested on the spot. He said that an FIR has been registered under various sections of Printing Press Act and Misappropriation of Property Act.
Thousands of posters removed from the city
According to media reports, around 2000 posters have been removed from Delhi city. Special CP Dipendra Pathak said a man was arrested from a van stopped while leaving the office, who said the owner had asked him to deliver the posters here. Dipendra Pathak said that posters were also distributed previous day.

According to the police, two printing press companies were given orders to print 50,000 posters each and employees associated with the companies put up the posters in various areas of the city late Sunday night to Monday morning. The owners have been arrested for not publishing their printing press name on the posters.
