New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is no more a member of Lok Sabha. He has been disqualified from Wayanad parliamentary seat of Kerala following a judgement against him of Surat Court in a 2019 defamation case. But the political rhetoric commenced after the proceedings do not seem to stop. Everyday a prominent leader from BJP is giving his statement about Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing media in New Delhi today, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said if any court takes action regarding the insult Rahul Gandhi done to OBC community, Rahul says that the court itself is wrong. He thinks he has got right to rule over the country by taking birth in one family. He thinks that he is above the law, above the Constitution and above any institution of the country.
Ashwini Vaishnav added if Rahul Gandhi feels that there is a provision for cancellation of membership in the constitution, then it should not be applicable to him because he has the right to rule the country and all the democratic institutions, created under the constitution of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, are under him.
On the other hand, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomer said, regarding this matter, that Rahul ji has come to the right place, this place is right for him. Today they are taking out a torch march. I want to ask them, against whom is the torch march? Is it against the court? It is unfortunate that the Gandhi family considers itself above all the institutions, above the law and above the Constitution.
